01What can be sold on Artaver?+
Only work made by human hands: original paintings and drawings, hand-drawn digital art, sculpture and ceramics, and sewn, crocheted, knitted, or embroidered fiber work. No prints, no reproductions, no AI-generated images — ever.
02How do I know a work is really handmade?+
Every work carries a Provenance Ledger— a public passport with a unique ledger number, the artist's process notes and work-in-progress photos, hours of work, and the full ownership history. Anyone can verify it at /provenance/<code>. Sellers also legally attest to human authorship on every digital listing.
03How much does it cost to sell?+
Opening a studio is free. Artaver takes a 10% commission on each completed sale — the rest goes straight to your connected payout account. There are no listing fees or monthly charges.
04What is the Second Wall?+
Our resale market. Collectors can resell works they own, and the original artist automatically earns a 10% royalty on every resale, forever. The work's provenance ledger grows with each change of hands.
05What payment methods do you accept?+
Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal — all through Stripe's secure checkout. Artaver never sees or stores your card details.
06How does shipping work?+
Artists pack and ship their own work directly to you — every physical piece is packed, signed, and sent by the person who made it. Shipping questions about a specific order go to the studio, or open a support ticket and we'll help.
07What if something goes wrong with my order?+
Open a ticket at Support — the team can chase studios, fix stuck payments, and process refunds where warranted.
08What is the Salon?+
Artaver's social side: artists post studio updates, works-in-progress, and 24-hour stories; everyone can follow, like, comment, and message. Every member gets a customizable page. It has a strict no-abuse policy enforced by filters and human moderators.
09How do I become a collector?+
Just buy a work — your first completed purchase assigns you a permanent collector number, inscribed into every ledger you touch. You can keep your collection private (the default) or make it a public page in Settings.
10What happens if a seller breaks the rules?+
Listings that violate the human-made rule are taken down, and repeat offenders lose their studio. We'd rather have a smaller catalogue than a compromised one.
